Gallery Updates

I recently noticed that the galleries for "Drawings" and "Illustrations" pages were broken apparently due to API changes made by Flickr. I googled around for solutions and eventually found out that simply updating Galleria (the JavaScript gallery I'm using) resolves the problem. Go figure, huh?

While tinkering with the codes though, I decided to change it up a little. The thumbnails are now a lot bigger, and instead of scrolling, all the available items are displayed in rows.

Furthermore, I've updated both galleries with new items, so check them out!

"O" Monologue & New VFX/Acting Page

A while ago, I took an "Acting for the Camera" class, which I thoroughly enjoyed. This is the final I performed.. a monologue from something called "O" apparently. I decided to upload it to add it to the new "VFX/Acting" page that you may have noticed.

Sure, not the best acting in the world, but it was fun. I miss acting, haha.

On a side note, despite all the sun you see, the weather was actually quite cold and I probably was doing my best not to shiver, haha. We were really fortunate to have gotten all that light because weather was rain-prone. Catch you next update!

Second AlterChasm Video "Magic Tennis Ball"!

Here is our 2nd video for AlterChasm: "Magic Tennis Ball"! It's another "for fun & experience" project. I feel I learned a lot working on it. And, of course, thanks to the awesome people who helped out!

Purorganic Commercial Storyboards

Here's something I worked on some time ago. As far as I know, it's a local commercial for a cosmetics company named "Purorganic", starring Han Suk Kyu (한석규), apparently "one of the leading actors of Korean cinema" according to Wikipedia. Check it out:



It's unfortunate the VFX/compositing/editing work leave a lot to be desired, but that's probably due to lack of man-power, time, and budget for the project. Still, they managed to get it out, and it's been broadcasting for several months now, so that's cool.

My job in this was the storyboards. I got called to do a rush job for the commercial. Not pretty pictures, but under the time contraints, they got the point across. I did storyboards for two concepts, but here are the storyboards for the one that made it to the final commercial:

And then I also got to help out on set as 2nd AC, among minor other things, which was a lot of fun. At one point, I was an extra (as a "grip" walking in the background), but sadly didn't make the final cut, haha. Well, maybe next time.

New "Animations" Page!

If you've been visiting my site from time to time, you might've noticed changes here and there happening from time to time as I'm still messing with various aspects of the site. Right now, I'm feeling like maybe the site's looking a bit too dark, but we'll see what happens as I keep adjusting it.

But a more important update is the "Animations" tab now in the menu above! Check it out for some of the interesting animations I've worked on!

First Post, First AlterChasm Video "Magic Eraser"

The first post on my new website!
It took a bit of thinking and researching, but I decided to create a new website using Blogger. Default Blogger templates aren't structured for full websites, per se, but it provides enough structure and customizability for someone like me to create a website. This is obviously a work in progress, but hopefully, it'll be fleshed out in the coming weeks. It is my hope to make it a central hub for my future projects.

That said, thank you for visiting!

For the first post, I'll post a video I recently finished editing called "Magic Eraser". It's a simple (enough) project that I conceptualized, directed, and acted for. "Alter Chasm" is the name of our Youtube channel. It is my hope to produce videos to this channel with interesting content, whether that be the story, visual element, etc.
